Meet our volunteers, learn how a local history museum comes to life behind the scenes, and enjoy activities and games designed for children and the young-at-heart.
Don’t miss the guided tour of the beautiful Nobelius Heritage Park at 11.00am - envision what the Nobelius Heritage Park looked like when it was home to the largest fruit and ornamental tree exporter in the southern hemisphere, the Gembrook or “Nobelius” Nurseries. Then explore the Museum to discover the nationally significant Nobelius Collection, and learn how it is being preserved for future generations.
Whether you’re a long-time local or a curious visitor, we would love to welcome you to the Emerald Museum.

Nobelius Heritage Park - Guided Walking Tour
Join us for a guided walking tour of the gorgeous Nobelius Heritage Park.
Envision what the Nobelius Heritage Park looked like when it was home to the largest fruit and ornamental tree exporter in the southern hemisphere, the Gembrook or “Nobelius” Nurseries. Discover trees and flowering foliage propagated by groundbreaking horticulturalist, Carl Axel Nobelius.

Jump Into The Past at the Nobelius Heritage Park
In celebration of the Australian Heritage Festival 2025, join us at the Emerald and District Museum and Nobelius Heritage Park for a day of children’s games.
Jump into the past with hopscotch, quoits, marbles, hoops and more.
This is a free event, bookings are not required. Drop in between 11am - 4pm.
Easter Scavenger Hunt
Join us for an Easter scavenger hunt at Nobelius Heritage Park on Wednesday 9 April.
Enjoy a day of excitement and exploration as you search for hidden objects scattered throughout the park. Once you’ve found all the items, turn in your checklist for a special surprise. We’ll also have face painting and Easter crafts for all to enjoy.
